Determined.

One goal that I have want to accomplish this week is to run 30-35mi. So far, while not following my normal schedule, I'm well on my way to success. Let me tell you, while the weather may be a deterent for some, it can be a motivator for me. This is my plan for the week:

Sunday: Afternoon (daylight) run = 4mi*
Monday: CEO retirement party after work = 0mi
Tuesday: Snow/Ice Night run = 5mi
Wednesday: Kid-sitting after work = 0mi
Thursday: ughhh Early Morning while-everyone-
                  else-is-cozy-in-their-beds run = 5.5mi
Friday: ughhh Early Morning while-everyone-
                  else-is-cozy-in-their-beds run  = 7.3mi**
Saturday: Not-so-terribly Early w/
                  Friends Trail run = 15-20mi**

* I like to start my weeks on Sunday. :)
**While these are predictions, I totally anticipate that they will be accomplished. HELLO?!?! I ran in the freaking SNOW/ICE mix on Tuesday. I can run in anything.

Tomorrow, I am, finally, registering for the Sylamore 50K. Hooray!
Obviously, I didn't want my shorts to get wet! Haha.

  1. Are those pics from during a race or after? I want to run one of the adventure-type races this summer :)

  2. These pictures are during the race. You cross the creek twice, once in the first mile and second in the last mile. Trail races are much more fun - to me at least!
